Attendance report
Open the attendance report: summary totals, then the days table for each person in the period.

Who is this lesson for?
For HR: see who was present, absent, late, or on leave in a period — before you generate payroll or talk to a supervisor.
Before you start
- Permission to view the attendance report.
- Clock-in is running: from the app or the web, with attendance settings in place.
Open the summary
From the menu: Analytics and reports → Reports → Attendance Report.

Filter at the top: Duration, employee, department, designation, branch.
Each row is one employee for that range:
- Present — days they clocked in.
- Absent — working days with no attendance and no approved leave.
- Extra working days — days worked beyond the shift week (for example a rest day they still attended).
- Hours clocked — time recorded in the period.
- Late days — days they clocked in after the shift start.
- Late hours — total delay on those present days only. A day with no clock-in (absent) is not added here.
- Early leave and Half days — days they left before the shift end, or were marked half-day.
Click a number to open that employee’s attendance for the same dates. Export downloads the table.
Open the days table
On the red bar click Days table.

One column per day. The note above the grid is the legend:
- Holiday · Day off · Present
- Day permission (leave on that day) · Half day
- Late · Early leave · Late and early leave
- Absent · On leave
Late hours on the summary come from the late marks on present days — not from the absent (X) columns.
Scroll sideways for later dates. Same filters as the summary. Export is on the red bar.
What happens after you read it?
- Use it with daily attendance when a day looks wrong.
- When you generate payroll with Use Attendance on, these days drive pay, late, and unpaid absence.
Common questions
Everyone shows absent?
They have not clocked in for this duration. Check the date range, then the attendance list.
A holiday shows as absent?
Add it under official holidays so the day is marked holiday, not absent.
Does absence add to late hours?
No. Late hours count only days the person was present and clocked in after the shift start. A day with no clock-in stays in Absent.
