Create and send a commercial or technical proposal
Write a commercial or technical proposal for a lead, a client, or a project — no deal required — send it, and collect the signature.
On this page
Who is this lesson for?
- Deal agent or sales: writes the proposal and sends it.
- Sales manager: reviews the list and the status.
- The recipient: a lead, a client, or a project contact. They open the public link. They do not open the account.
Before you start
- The contact should already be on Leads — or you already have a client or a project.
- A Deal is optional. Leave it empty if you are only sending a proposal.
- You can do every step from the website or from the app.
- You need permission to add a proposal. Do not use Change To Client in this lesson.
Open Commercial / technical proposal
From the menu: Administrative and financial affairs → Finance and accounts → Commercial / technical proposal.

Click Create Proposal.
Or from the lead profile click Proposal. Same form. A deal is not required.
Choose the recipient

- Recipient: Client or Lead. On the app you can also pick Project.
- Deal: leave -- if there is no deal yet.
- Proposal title, Proposal number, Valid Till, and Currency.
Pick the proposal form

Proposal form sets the sections:
- Quick Quotation: a short price quote with a description and line items.
- Service Proposal: a service with duration and a fixed fee.
- Project Proposal: scope, timeline, and payment stages.
- Subscription Proposal: a monthly or yearly package.
- Supply & Installation: products, install, delivery, warranty.
- Maintenance Proposal: visits and coverage.
- Custom: start empty and add the sections you need.
Estimated cost: Fixed amount, Range, or Line items.
Use Generate with AI to fill the sections from a short brief. Review the text before you save.
Signature and save

- Require customer signature for approval: on by default. The recipient must sign on the public page before the status becomes Accepted.
- Save: keeps the proposal. Status Waiting. Not sent.
- Save & Send: saves and emails the public link.
- Save & Mark as Send: saves and marks it sent. The recipient gets no email — share Public Link yourself.
Public link, download, send

- Public Link: what the recipient opens to read, accept, or decline.
- Download: the PDF.
From the list, the row menu has Send. If the row shows Not Sent, they have not received the email yet.
The recipient signs

They open the public link.
Accept opens the signature. Decline needs a reason. Status becomes Declined.

The modal title is Signature & Confirmation Of Identity:
- Name and Email.
- Signature: draw on the pad, or Upload Signature. Undo and Clear if they need a second try.
- Then Sign. Status becomes Accepted.
From the app

Create Proposal
Open Commercial / technical proposal, tap Create Proposal. Pick Client, Lead, or Project. Leave Deal empty if there is none. Then continue.

Proposal form
Set Proposal title and Proposal form. Generate with AI fills the text. Estimated cost: Fixed, Range, or Line items. Then Save.

The proposal
On the saved proposal:
- View PDF and Download.
- Share PDF.
- Send to client — emails the public link.
- Swipe the card: Share signature link.
Status on the card is Waiting until they sign.
What happens after?
- Status stays Waiting until they Sign or Decline.
- After Sign it becomes Accepted.
- An invoice from this proposal, when the recipient is still a lead, needs Change To Client first — Convert a lead to a client.
- A contract is after they accept. That is finance, later.
