Who is this lesson for?

  • Company admin: chooses which events send an email and which send a push to the team.
  • Employees: do not open this page. They receive what you left on, on top of their own profile choices.

Before you start

  • You need permission to manage notification settings.

Open Notification Settings

From the menu: Settings → Notification Settings. Stay on the Email tab.

Notification Settings Email tab: Select All and event switches

Under Email Notification Settings, turn on the events you want sent by email. Select All turns every event on or off together. The names match the Push list below. Then Save.

Push

Open the Push tab. A green or red dot on the tab shows whether push is on for the company.

Notification Settings Push tab: Select All and the same events for push

Under Push Notification Settings, turn on the events that should reach the phone. Select All works the same way. Then Save.

Email and push are separate. An event can be on for email and off for push.

App notifications

These are the events on the Push tab. Each switch controls that type on the phone.

Common questions

Email tab or Push tab?
Email is the inbox. Push is the phone banner. Save each tab after you change it.

An event is missing?
That module is off, or the event is not in the company list.

Next: Two-factor authentication.
