Who is this lesson for?

  • Company admin: sets how dates, money and the default language look before the team works every day.
  • Employees and clients: do not open this page. They see the result on lists, invoices and the app. Each person can still pick another language in their profile.

Before you start

  • You need permission to manage company settings.
  • Know the timezone of the offices and the currency you invoice in.

Open App Settings

From the menu: Settings → App Settings. Stay on the App Settings tab.

App Settings: date format, time format, timezone, currency, language, table row limit

A second tab, Client Settings, is how clients register themselves. That is a different lesson: Allow clients to sign up.

What happens after you save?

  • The default language is for anyone who has not picked another in their profile.
  • Export and the reporting tree apply on the next list the team opens.
  • A new currency appears in Currency Settings and in amount fields. Invoices in the default currency still use the old exchange rates for payments that already happened.
